had a bit of an epiphany for putting a few different ideas together to form one 'song'.. (so good when they finally click together!), but now i have another part, and i'm not sure where to take the chord sequence..

maybe you guys might have some cool suggestions?

hopefully this works.. these are the 4 chords.. so imaging strumming 4/4 each chord an equal amount of time. the 4th one is the one i'm not sure about:

|-------------------1

|--8---8----3-----1

|--7---7----3-----2

|--8---------0-----0

|--6-----------------

|-------8----3-----1

Ebmaj7 C(m7b5 most likely) Gm F6.

those are the chords you've got there if that helps.

Well the scale for this progression is Cm. You are playing a progression of III, I, V. I would suggest going with the VI chord next Ab. Something like -
|--------------------
|--8---8----3------
|--7---7----3-----5
|--8---------0-----6
|--6-----------------
|-------8----3-----4

To me that helps resolve the progression as well.

IMHO, YMMV...

eat it

keep those 4 chords, I like no.4

and try these 4 after a couple of sequences

|--3-----------------

|--3---6----8-----4

|--3---8----8-----5

|--5---6----8-----5

|--6---8---10------

|-------------------4
