Members star0nfire
Try a Seymour Duncan SFX-03 (Twin Tube Classic). I have one, you can nail Santana's tone with it
Members Bobkat
If you really want to sound like Santana, Keeley Modded Tubescreamer is what you need. Also, if you have a three way switch on your guitar, put it in the middle and roll off the tone knob of the guitar. Experiment with different pickup settings with one of the tone knobs almost off. That's called the "Woman Tone":thu:

Members FLYING V 83
The one pedal I always used was the SCOD. LP neck pup, gain & contour maxed and volume about 1/3 up on the SCOD. Carlito!

I used my Tom Anderson Hollow Drop Top on the neck position. I used a Keeley Modded TS-9 into my '66 Allen/Master Volume Bassman head Normal clean channel. Members LedZep1985
I just got my Keeley TS9 Mod Plus in the mail yesterday. I can get a similar tone using my Keeley modded TS9 though my Mesa Boogie Mark III using my 1973 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe. The neck pickup is very important to use for that tone. Members 89strat
tube screamer with the gain low into an amp that's already a bit on the dirty sound. A clean amp and a tube screamer alone aint gonna do it. A guitar with a neck humbucker will complete it.

Members Blueedge59
I really like the Bluesmaster Overdrive by Goforthsound. It gets Mesa Mark I, Fender clean, classic Marshall and Dumble tones very well, and nothing has done that like the real thing, I have tried and used many pedals and in combination with other pedals. The Bluesmaster works great for me!http://cdn.tonepedia.com/sound-sample-list/2940
