I like cherry but all colors are cool to me. P90's are my favorite but I also like humbuckers. Small guard big guard it's all good to me as long as the neck is nice. Actually very happy w/it except I'd prefer a green, semi-transparent finish with trapezoidal inlays.Am I weird for thinking that anything beyond a ToM-stop makes the SG look a little overdressed? It's the one issue about the guitar that bugs me the most. Actually, there's one other issue. Because of the way they're designed, and because of where the neck / body joint is, I tend to misjudge where I'm at on the neck more when playing an SG. I also have a soft spot for juniors, and I'm in the process of converting my teal/blue flip-flop special to a junior, which looks like a yellowed Pelham blue. Should be sexy. And the fact that Sweetwater had 24 months no interest helped.
