Members macadood
was playing around with a malekko 616 and noticed the clock noise bleeds through the pedal when bypassed. malekko claims on its site that the pedal is true bypass or buffered bypass depending on how you have the bypass set, but neither one seems to be bypassing {censored}. powered by a pp2+ so it shouldn't be anything wrong with the power. TL;DR malekoo lied? what gives
Members sparkfriction
i am done with malekko since my e600b craps out... the 616 sounds cold... the 919... yada yada... but with the cc in front and the mix full open... dunno.

Members ÂÂ
There you go. Sell the pedal and get some Air Jordans.
Members lefort_1
maca, not sure Icould follow all you were doing, but if you get that whine in either bypass mode, then it's probably a grounding problem within the pedal...the noise is on the ground (the one common thing to either mode). I'd look for a poor sodler joint, a ratty wire, etc. Also, does it happen if you run it on batteries?
Members JorisBlack
It does sound like a power issue, even with your PP. Stuff like this can also happen if too much stuff is plugged into the same socket.
Members macadood
possible. i do have enough stuff plugged into it. but only this pedal seems to be misbehaving...the glorious Cabron copy next to it does no such thing. so the clock noise is somehow leaking into the electrical wires that are all interconnected with my amp itself?? still not my definition of 'bypass'
