i never felt much love for the white stripes, seemed to boring to me.

 

but after seeing it might get loud, this guy made me interested

what are the must have listen to album's from/with him?

where to start? what to expect?

I've not seen that. I'll have to keep an eye out for it. Saw them years ago at Benicassim and for a festival set it got pretty deep (ie good)

This. I'm not a HUGE White Stripes fan, but I dig em. Raconteurs stuff was good, his solo record was alright, but the Dead Weather stuff is awesome.

I saw him live last year on his solo tour, and it was a fantastic performance. He played songs from Blunderbuss, but also White Stripes and Raconteurs songs.


For me, The Raconteurs is definitely the best stuff he has been involved with, best songs. Both albums are great. Also, the drummer kicks ass.
