Members Player99
I bought a Timeline when they first came out... It is pretty good. But the thing that I don't like is how Strymon purposely left out things that their other delay pedals do. So even if you buy the Timeline, which has a wack of delays and settings, and 100 present slots, you still will need to buy an El Capistan for multi head delay. The TL has single head, but it just does not cut it if you want the multi heads. I think they should include the multi head stuff. I will ditch it as soon as something better comes along, and I am staying away from other Strymon products because of this tactic.

Members m_Calavera
Maybe. Or maybe they just had restrictions on what they could include, and axed it for something else. Timeline does a lot of stuff. I see multi-head delay as kind of a niche thing so to me it makes sense to leave it to a more specialised unit, but then again I can't use delay without sounding like that Fruisciante TTE vid so what do I know. If the TL is sold as the ultimate delay and has tape delay, multi head should be there. Its not like they don't have it available...
Members delayed delay
I can get a fairly convincing multi head tape sound from the dual delay engine... Plus, their dual delay is much more versatile and useful to me than the multi-head tape. Jmo
Members Player99
I have not used the dual much... how would you set it to make it sound like it is the multi-head? I thought it would have had 2 separate delays for the dual like the Timefactor, but the way the dual-delay is an awkward division of 1 delay was another thing I didn't expect. First, it was TC Electronic. Now, it's Strymon. Beware him, for his anger is mighty.
