  • Line 6 Releases the PODHD500X pedal.

    http://guitar.mymusictalk.com/blogs/5173/499/line-6-launches-the-pod-hd500x#.Ud8dkNJWw1g

What do you think about it? Is it just the same ''old'' PODHD500 pedal inside a new metal case, flashy LED lights or is just another thing altogether?

If I was going to go ampless and run direct to P.A. / stage foldback, this could be a solution.

But I don't ever seem to need 100 different amp/cab/effect sounds. I can barely keep track of my switchless wah.

      Fun to play with, though.

The new pedal doesn't even seems to be a real improvement.

Looks like multi-fx pedals development is slow these days.

        Pretty much this.
The M series is top dog as far as multi effects go.

Though that newer Zoom didn't look too bad.
