  • I don't know what guitar to get...

I like the Jazzmaster a lot. But he's kinda like one of those friends who you think is really cool but you never really hang out one on one. Great guitar, but at the end of the day I wanna chill with someone else.
I like Teles a lot, probably what i'll end up with. But I kind of also want a semi hollow, preferably one with mini hums.

    I don't have a lot of money.

    wat do

Strat. One of those weird pawn shop special hollow/ semi hollow Strat things? Actually, why not just get a Gretsch?

Strats are cool, but not for me, I've played many a strat in my time.
      Maybe a thinline tele?

Well, I'm not sure what your budget tips out at but I'd be looking either at Epi Casinos or Classic Vibe Squiers.

    Perhaps THIS?!?!?

You have a general idea that you want a semi hollow so go to a guitar store with a good selection and try as many semi hollows as you can.  Try the Epiphones (Dot, es339 (which i reckon looks really good), Casino, Riviera) and try the Squire semi hollow telecasters.  Also have a look for any other semi hollows from other companies.  Narrow your selection down to a couple then choose the one that feels and sounds the best.

I wanted a Jazzmaster since I was 16 but it took me 13 years till I found one that I clicked with.  Take your time and find the right guitar.

    Good luck, mate.

The reason I don't get a used Dot or Artcore is because I want to play guitars before purchasing them, and the only nicer HB in the store is a Schecter Corsair for $700, which I think is silly.  That Sheraton is really, really solid.  Couldn't care less about the headstock, and the rest of it looks just fine.

I had an Alleykat once, sold it.  Nope, looking for a larger HB or semi-HB.

Travvy, this afternoon God told me you need a Telecaster.  An American Tele.  He threatened the usual shenanigans (plagues, pillars of fire, etc.) if you don't heed his call.

He's one of the best songwriters out there, and his tone is always killer.

            Strat into a Princeton.

I really liked the Pelham Blue Epiphone 335(ish) model I played at Dam Ash last week. The only think that bugged me was the wood had no filler and was just painted over.

Welp better tban Meh'r at least? I wonder tho if ra wasnt so hunky and looked like john popper or jon davis if he would still have an contract?

Trendy, borrowy, vocals sound like an gas station attendant! Ummm for starters.

I hate overly clean gtrs and he kind of is dependent on Leaning on Overly Clean Guitars to identify himself as "Alt Country" and that so sad and lame if u ask me? Kids are so vain and into themselves these days, he has to play clean bland tones to fit the cool genre for the elite hipsters just to be cool... Page papa chubby to cumm thro a royal lizard fitt....!
