Members Player99
I am going to start on a new recording project and I would like to bring in a way to have the producer record my amp, and at the same time my guitar signal straight out of the guitar before my pedal board so we can re-amp (and re-pedal) the guitar after if the effects are off a bit.I have a passive splitter but I think I will lose some signal strength so I am wondering a cost effective way to do this. Members 1001gear
Guessing you can take the amp feed from the board as you record the dry signal.

Do you mean go into the board then out to the pedal board, mic the amp then back to the board?I would think it is better to have some sort of a box before my pedals that splits. One channel to the board, the 2nd to the pedals-> amp -> mic -> board.

Members 1001gear
Is there an Ampulator in this solution? Was it ever good for anything?Sorry wrong device. I'm referring to that low impedance line driver for pedal boards I forget the name obviously.Ok, it's Valvulator. Low impedance buffer. But then come to think of it, if that's ok into a guitar amp, why wouldn't a send from the board be?
