Strat bridges with acoustic/piezo saddles

Just wondering if these all require 9v battery space in the guitar or are their passive ones? I know about the expensive $150 + ones, but what are some cheaper value ones out there and is there a severe drop in "acoustic" fake sound with the price? Seems all fake is still fake.

You can get passive ones, but they don't sound very good unfortunantly, the output will be really low.

I dunno if this is always an issue but the Moog guitar I used to have had some creakung sounds when using piezo and tremolo together. Something to consider

Some spring reverb and creakung sounds like a surfy good time maybe?

A passive one would be boosted by a graphic eq or did bifet on my board... Not sure if that is important to know... Looking for cheapest pop in option with as little mod as possible, but not if it is really not an avenue that is worth it

My Variax trem made sounds like a rolling pin rolling on a wooden table so for me not so surfy...

But you might want to look at the Tyler Variax guitars. If you get a good one (which I did not) they can be pretty versatile.

You have a blend pot or a flip switch for the peizo activation?

I run 2 cables from my guitar and route them separately.  Each signal path has a volume pedal, so i can blend the way I want.  I could have done a stereo cable, but the setup started out as development and I just migrated it into production.
