Members SonicMayhem42
I am thinning the herd on some pedals I haven't used in over a year and am going to by something musical with it. I was looking at getting an Epiphone Casino or possibly a Vox AC15. I currently have a fender super champ 600 and a Hot Rod Deluxe for amps an for guitars I have most of the basic types, Les Paul, Strat, Tele, SG, and Mustang. I have a bass and am borrowing a really nice bass from my brother. My favorite bands and tone I tend to go for are Smashing pumpkins, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Nirvana ect. Any input would be appreciated. Members SonicMayhem42
My understanding is that the casino is a full hollow body am I mistaken?

Phil O'Keefe
I'm a fan of both the Epiphone Casino and the Vox AC15 - in fact, I own one of each... so I'm probably not the right guy to ask. If forced to pick one or the other, I'd probably say "get the Casino." I absolutely love mine.
Members SonicMayhem42
I am thinking about 500-700.
Members MHuxtableV2
With what you have, you'll get a larger variety of sounds by getting the Vox vs getting the guitar
Members PurpleTrails
I'd probably vote with the vox. Then again, I would probably get rid of the SG and get a Casino instead.

Members trainbridge
Get a used ac15 twin. All the glory of the ac15 but in an ac30 box with 2 12's. I just got one for cheap ($400 on craigslist) you will get a broader range of tones adding that amp then adding a casino. If you look hard enought you might be able to have both for $750-850. Members SonicMayhem42
Mine is a 2000 SG gothic special. Maybe it is just the thickness of the neck. It just handles drop tunings really well.
Members reverberlayed
I'd get the Casino. I wasn't crazy about my AC15.
