Phil O'Keefe
Cool video - I really like his approach to things - thanks for posting that juri.
Members screenager2
yeah I was put off such multi boards a long long time ago (me-6), good to know they have finally got their shhh together. saying that I don't ever see myself going near them, still >_>
Phil O'Keefe
I had an RP-6 at one point, and I didn't really care for the dirt on it... the modulation and delays were okay, but definitely "digital" sounding and somewhat thin.
Members Trick Fall
Wow, he really got some great tones. I'd love to see a break down of his settings. I've never been able to get the shimmery, dreamy, chorus, reverb, delay thing down.
Members plaidbeer
So, why are the Line 6 M13/M9 and Zoom G-series popular here while the new Boss GT/ME series rarely get a mention? They all use digital modeling for drives. Is it because of Boss's association with hair metal?
Members juri
I blame COSM. COSM has a bad reputation, although supposedly they have improved it. Line 6 M series sounds good but the switches are crappy.
Members evets618
Nevertheless, I shall continue to purchase obscenely expensive effects hand-made by young virgins because they make me a better player, or at least I'm so busy tweaking my 12-knob tremolo that I don't have time to think about such things.Someone help me move this pedal board into its trailer. Members plaidbeer
I was interested in the ME-80 (been thinking about scaling down and going with a multi + a couplle of dirts again). But they left out a couple of effects--no RV-5 modulated reverb and no RE-20 settings for the delay.

I had a RP-6 and a RP-12 back in the mid-90s. I agree 100%.... distortions.. ugh. I pretty much used it for the delays. I totally forgot about those units.h
Members effectsbay
Here is a recent break down of Johnny Marr's pedalboard from Dec 2014 on his last US tour. Absolutely fantastic show! http://www.effectsbay.com/2015/02/pedalboard-break-johnny-marr/ Also, here is a post about his bass player Iwan Gronow http://www.effectsbay.com/2015/02/pedalboard-break-iwan-gronow-johnny-marr/ h
Members skviggel fhank
those old RP series used analog distortion circuits, something they should revisit in their multi effects IMO...

I totally forgot about those units. h They weren't bad for their era, but technology has advanced considerably, and more modern multi-effects units definitely sound better to me.
