Members Rayd512
Hey guys, I'm in the market to get a new tube amp used and thats whats available right now. Respectively, they are priced in CAD at $200, $300, $190 and $300. I play a lot of blues and rock. This will be used only as a bedroom amp. Thanks! Members Mikeo
Personally I'd do the Fender Pro Jr. The Bugera, is have a single tone. LIne 6 will have plenty of tones and built in effects. The Peavey I am unsure of. My so called bedroom amp is a Yamaha THR classic. They are pretty cool. You can get it with a travel case too, battery powered if you ever want it, and it comes with a AC adapter.Vox make a little amp similar called the Adio, that might be worth looking into also. Fender make and amp called the Mustang GT 40. This ain't me, but imo it's an amazing video.Yamaha[video=youtube;6K12Mi0TmPY] Anderton Music test driving the Vox.[video=youtube;gE6V3QqGppA] Vox[video=youtube;PNFOlSzIjaw] Fender[video=youtube;PNFOlSzIjaw]
Members DeepEnd
Another vote for the Pro Jr., largely for its lower Wattage. You don't need a 40-50 Watt amp for bedroom use. The VK212 in particular is serious overkill at 100 Watts.
Members Verne Andru
One of the problems with the Fender Pro Jr. is that it's made to sound best cranked. Fender uses an audio-taper volume pot so when you are set at 3 it's pretty much wide open and is far from bedroom friendly.
