Members WRGKMC Posted October 11, 2017 Members Share Posted October 11, 2017 The 6505 slant cab is obviously a knock off of a Marshall 1960 slant cab which is typically loaded with Celestions. As far as I know they have always been stock speakers for that cab and are a match the 6505 heads. I have an older Peavey Blackface 4X12 flat front cab which originally had black magnet Eminence speakers which sound pretty cruddy compared to my 1960 Cab loaded with 75W Creambacks. I have a couple of Weber speakers I may try in it. They are only 25W each but with two of the Eminence speakers it will still be able to handle a 100W head.
