Members Dr. Tweedbucket
I mean, like if you wanted to play the Star Spangled Banner and was hoping someone up there would hear it, what amp would be good for that? I was thinking: A. A couple of 4-12 cabs pointed in the moon's general direction. B. A Hiwatt DR201 or some kind of bass power amp. C. A treble booster to get the highs to cut through the smog. D. Some kind of delay so the sound that naturally gets delayed will wrap it'self around and realign all the lost phase angles and stuff liek that. E. An octave pedal so that the highs that get sucked up in the heavily charged ion particles will be carried by the equal bass notes as they slowly die a horrible, HORRIBLE death I don't know, I'm out of ideas, but anyone else have suggestions? Members Mr.Grumpy
You and flat-earth rapper B.O.B. should hook up. Sound doesn't travel in the vacuum of space. Having said that, this rig: ....boosted with a METALZONE might just be enough to override the laws of physics.
Moderators daddymack Posted September 29, 2017 Moderators Share Posted September 29, 2017 Mr. Grumpy is a killjoy, but he is correct...plus, Tweedie, even your steam powered robots would fail to work on the moon...
Members Tomm Williams
I'd use a 1watt amp direct into NASA's communicatin sattelites. Just like talking to the astronauts.
