Members rfield54 Posted May 25, 2016 Members Share Posted May 25, 2016 The middle control pot on my Fender Prosonic amp has recently become completely ineffective, now making no change when turning up or down. I checked all the tubes on my tube tester (triplett), and they all seemed to check out okay. Any ideas on a possible cause and solution? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Members onelife Posted May 25, 2016 Members Share Posted May 25, 2016 It is possiblt to control itself may have been damaged. I'm thinking that one of the connections to the control may have come loose (perhaps a poor solder joint has let go). If you have experience working inside a tube amp then I would suggest opening it up and examining the control and its associated wiring. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
