They are a best that must be unleashed to sound good. I still want to get myself a 50W Plexi however. I had one back in the 70's before it was stolen from me. They were the ideal amp for club work. You could open them up and get great tones without having club owners throwing you out for playing too loud. The 50W Plexi tube is about as loud as my 100W Mosfet Valvestate.
