I was thinking about adding a tone circuit although my amp tech said it won't be a true tone circuit as it will more or less just be cutting out the treble. Anyone have one of these amps? Members DeepEnd Posted December 16, 2014 Members Share Posted December 16, 2014 A "tone" control like in a guitar is just a high cut anyway. Amps usually have controls that both boost and cut. And I haven't seen an amp that didn't have at least separate bass and treble controls that was worth owning.
