The Mode Four actually sounds very good recorded. I was pleasantly surprised!

Cool, if you dig the 800 without a boost more power to you! However most metal players who play through one discover that the 800 LOVES to be boosted. It just turn's into something special. Oh and JCM 800's go very well with beer just ask Zakk Wylde (who uses a boost)
You know something's afoot when Diezel doens't make the list.

I don't think there are enough of those floating around to make a top ten list. From the clips I have heard they are badass but at over $4000.00 they are out of the reach of most people. As far as the HD147 making the list I think it was just there way of trying to have a diverse list and include the digital stuff. Those are great amps btw.

My fingers, PRS and Taylor guitars, Budda, Fryette and Orange amps, Genz Benz cabs, Line6 effects and wireless, various dirt and fuzz boxes.

Here will be the bet. By Aug 28th, 2007, Caparison Guitars will have signifigantly reduced in used value. If they have not, I will buy you the new copy of Madden 08, which will be coming out by then.

That's a weak bet. I'll put my whole ****************ing rig on the line. The "signifigant" price drop has to be the $500-600 that you keep saying they're going to be selling for.
