Members patshep
what mods can make a deluxe reverb have a tighter bass, and less shrill highs... i'm thinking i should just get one cheap and mod it, instead of a boutique amp that i can't afford (carr)

Members Clawhammer
have a tech put in a solid state rectifier, and 6l6 tubes.... Then itll sound more like a small twin I'd think. I like mine the way it is for band practice and small gigs ... when I need more oomph I use my twin. I like to start with both tone ctrls at 0 and dial in just a little bass and treble as needed. ... you get more mids out of the deluxe that way.
