Members Reck
I have a Bill Lawrence pickup that I'm installing into a guitar, but since it doesn't have pole pieces per se, I can't figure out which way round to put it. This is for the bridge btw. Advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.J
Members aero90
I assume you are talking about an L-500. I put mine in so that the wires came out the side towards the controls. It doesn't matter at all unless you are going to do coil splitting, anyway.
Members Reck
I've actually moved the pickup from a coil-split guitar to an ordinary guitar so the extra wire is confusing me. With the old pickup the red and white wires were soldered together at the same terminal. With the Bill Lawrence, the green and white wires are soldered together. On the old pickup there were Red, Green and White wires. On The Lawrence there are Red, Green, White and Black wires. Which wire(s) do I ignore since I don't care about coil splitting.. ? Which wires do I solder where? Thanks J
