Members mentoneman
and it wasn't bad, but it was not set up properly and the hardware had a cheap vibe to it but the neck was cool and the pickup sounded decent it was on sale for 2500...is that good? Members rgt320
I played one of those a while ago. The setup wasn't too bad, but the guitar just had a cheap feel about it

Members mentoneman
oh trust me i'm not even considering the thing, but it was ok to play, except the action was pretty stinking high. but in classic GC form it was detuned at least a whole step so that it played slinkier. at standard tuning, that gtr would have been close to unplayable. Members pluto
Pat, eddyrox on this forum has two and he plans to get another one by the end of the year. He loves them as much as his other high end guitars and he bought both for a lot less than 2500.

Members Wizard of Ozz
Way overpriced considering what they are IMHO. $2200-$2400 seems to be the current going rate.

No constest.Tyler Yup!!! I own a 1983 Charvel and 3 GMW's I compared them to the re-issues (strathead and pointy) and although they are ok guitars they are WAY off base. That said my GMW's BLOW the new Charvels out of the water and gives my 83 a run for its money....plus the price is right. I got 2 GMW guitars with 5a quilt tops with cases and shipping for around 3k.

Members Digital Jams
I played one about three weeks ago at a GC, it just came in so it was setup pretty good and not detuned I thought the neck was pretty good and the pup sounded nice, I though the pot was too stiff and I was not digging the neck joint connection. I thought it could have been a tighter fit imo. Fret work was pretty solid, not too shabby. IMO my $1500 GMW is a much better guitar.

Members bobbtoz
I haven't had the opportunity to play one of the EVH charvels, but I'm sure I couldn't do better than my current GMW.
Members pink freud
i hate those guitars. not because it only has one pickup. not because it only has one knob. because it goes against the whole philosophy of the frankenstrat. its spose to be CHEAP!
