I'm looking for a big thick heavy rythym sound, but also to be able to solo. Can't remember my settings, but it seemed a little thin. Using a Les Paul and Marshall 4x12" w/ greenbacks. Members Nik Posted October 20, 2005 Members Share Posted October 20, 2005 Mids up - maybe around 3 o'clock. Treble and bass down - around 9 o'clock. That's how I like it, anayhow, but mostly for soloing. I'm into that mid-thick, horn-like Dave Murrey type tone. And after a lot of tweaking I found I like the other channels best with all EQ on max.
