GBP = British Pound Sterling.

1 GBP = $1.77 US at today's close

Soundcontrol in London won't let you play anything by MESA unless you are set on buying the amp - which is bollocks are far as I'm concerned. I won't buy the amp unless i've tried it, which i can't do until I buy it, continue
ad infinitum
.

i went in there in the summer, and got to try out both a dual recto and a stiletto, with a gibson les paul classic- i didn't buy a sausage (nor did i say i was interested in buying).

:confused:

anyway, I am in europe and i bought an engl savage se, although for more out and out metal, i'd take a powerball/se.

If i wanted a darker sound, i'd probably take a diezel vh4.

I haven't tried framus.

^yeah, maybe the fact you went in with others worked against you ( i was on my own)

although some other guitar shops in and around denmark street got pissy when they thought i wasn't buying...

anyway, i only buy from places that let me try stuff to my heart's content, if no, i don't buy from them, it hurts them in the end.
