The driver comes from your sound card manufacture. It will be included with the package.
Members blackba
Good free program, wish it had Midi support. Last I checked it didn't.

Members TimothyDavid
If the soundcard is external make sure it's powered on before you load your operating system altogether. It doesn't matter that you turn the sound card on then start Kristal because the crime has already been comitted. Double check to make sure that ASIO is a supported mode that your soundcard is operating in at that moment. Other recording programs can sometimes affect the settings of your soundcard console. Aside from that I would recommend reinstalling your drivers and restarting. Goodluck, Kristal is a good freeware program that has allowed many of my students to do way more with their music then they thought they could with the budgets they have (especially the freeware VST's floating around out there) Timothy. Members boogieman_dan
You could just change your audio output in Kristal back to MME or whatever it's called on your system...ASIO can be a headache.
