2 votes for the MKIV and your selling the rectifier..

now thats funny.

why not try stuff out and see what YOU like best?!

i ve already try the mark IV at low volume (play mostly in my bedroom)

the distortion seem more tight compare to the recto...

that's exactly what a brazilian friend has

a single rec head and a mark IV combo

he recorded both

the single rec was plugged into the mark's electrovoice speaker

thanks for the videos, mark sound less fizzy even in those videos...

yeah, and it sounds a little tighter and rawer too

he likes the cleans on the mark better, but i loved my ex-single rec's clean channel

i just couldn't stand the distortion :(

now i feel anxious everytime i hear a recto

need therapy

listen to this band: www.cobalto1.com

they recorded with a dual rectifier and a triaxis into a jcm 800 2204 clone

the main sound is pure and raw recto tone

i love the songs, but i hate this rectifier sound

No doubt the Rectifiers are more fizzy sounding and less tight than the Marks. Both are pretty awesome though. I do prefer the Marks but the Rectifiers do have their place depending on what tone you are after.
