  • SED vs JJ 6l6 tubes for Triple X

Just a simple question. I hate the el34s that are in my xxx.
I already know im going with 3 jjecc83s pres and a jj 12dw7 in V2.

But I cant decide on which 6l6 tubes to run.
The SED winged C or the JJ gc tubes.

I have no experience with either tube,
and would like some opinions, and why
you think one tube is better than the other.
This is for of course, Heavy styles.

SED all the way! Although, I would be tempted with KT77's.

I wasn't too impressed with JJ in my XXX. I put the stock tubes back in after about a day or two. Just couldn't find anything with them.

i like JJ's coz they're supposed to be a bit darker with their 6L6's

haven't tired SEDs but have always heard great things about them, you won't lose either way imo
