Members chemten Posted November 2, 2007 Members Share Posted November 2, 2007 i didnt think version 1 even had a noise gate? i had a v1 and it had a noisegate. like an above poster said, the noise gate in the v2 actually works. the gate on my engl did just as much for me after i sold it as it did when i played it... nothing. Members shredhead7 Posted November 2, 2007 Members Share Posted November 2, 2007 Yes, the noise gate on the V1 works, but it clips badly, even when it's supposed to be off. It's like the early cheap as boss noise gates. I really wish I could disconnect it. You can't do volume swells at all, or even rolling back the volume to get some really soft picking stuff, it just clips it off. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
