Crate V33 2x12 or Crate TV 6210

The US built TurboValve 6210 is going to have more gain and give up more headroom on both it's clean and distortion channels. The 2x10" speakers will give a different response,as well.Plus the high gain mode is voiced more for harder rock and metal styles of play.Lastly, the power section has either 6L6 or EL34 [may be switchable] tubes, which impact the overall tone and feel of the amp.The TurboValve series was a Crate tube design that never really caught the average guitar player's fancy [unlike the popular Vintage Club and V-Series lines],possibly due to it looking too much like one of their solid state offerings.

The Asian built V33 is going to give more of a Vox tone and feel, due to it's quad EL84 design and preamp voicing. The clean tones will give up a bit more grind and compression, while the higher gain tones tend be be more mid oriented and somewhat compressed or squishy. So it really comes down to your taste and the styles of music you like to play.

Thanks Ed.

Sounds like the turbo valve is the more versatille one.
