Members bktele989
There is an ampeg vh-140c combo on my CL right now, for 125$. Is that a good price? I hear these are great for extreme metal. http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/msg/1221174851.html It says someting about the volume fading in and out, what do you guys think? Worth it or not? Members PlayboyChris
Worth it if you have no qualms about the cosmetic condition or the fact that you should probably take it to a tech immediately after purchasing it.

Members ComingApart
the volume fading is most likely the FX jacks.Mine did that when I first got it. It's more versatile than it's reputation leads you to believe.I like the clean channel and the WWWWWWWIIIIIIIIIIIIDDDDDEEEEEEEEE stereo chorus. Yeah, you may want to bring a short little patch cable with you if you go try it out and jumper the fx loop to see if that solves the problem - it's the common quick dirty fix on those. Mine was never a problem until I started using the fx loop, once I stopped, the volume started going in and out, so now if I'm not running anything in the loop I have a patch cord in there.
