Members LR Weizel
JCM2000 DSL. Really it has quite a nice metal tone. Though maybe kinda more 80s metal.
Members LesPaulCustom79
Marshall JCM900 MkIII 2100/2500 (not the Dual Reverb) - This amp with a 1960B cab has a really tight bottom end and chugs with the best of them. Push this amp with a good overdrive and or distortion pedal, and the bottom on this amp will crush your chest. In addition, this amp has a preamp and a gain knob, which go from 1-10 and 11-20, respectively. Note: The JCM900 MkIII is the ultimate factory modded evolution of the JCM800 MkII. Uses full sized pots and is basically same circuit as JCM800 with extra gain. Marshall JCM900 SL-X (Super Lead eXtended)- This high-gain amp can do the br00talz easy, but the extra preamp tubes put out extra noise, especially if you use an overdrive. More gain than other JCM900 amps. KISS used them in 90's Tour. Marshall JCM900 4100/4500 Dual Reverb - Do not ever buy one of these reverb, tone sucking, pieces of crap. Run.....run......run away, as fast as you can from anyone trying to sell you one of these, or a JCM800 2205/2210, they are the same type circuit. Marshall JCM2000 DSL100 - Good amp for br00talz and newest Marshall I would buy. This amp uses small, black, Chinese pots though. Only buy this amp if you need to switch from gain ch. to the clean ch. in the same song, for some unknown reason, or don't want to own a Marshall and a Fender amp. Members MRscratch
i know what you said. however, a jmp, or any other jtm, nmv marshall with a good od, like a 808 ,ocd, etc and DIALED IN RIGHT , will lay the brootz to yer sorry ass right good. I have this amp, and it can certainly get brutal as tits without a boost. with a boost it sounds MASSIVE though

Members Dewysoss
So, is that it?Well Marshall hasn't really made that many amps I guess But when it comes to high gain modern br00tz stuff WITHOUT a boost, you're pretty much wanting a DSL/TSL/6100/JVM/2203KK and MAYBE some of the 900s. Members LordThurisaz
I dont have anything to add, because it'd just be a regurgitation of everyone else [JVM, DSL/TSL, etc.], but how can a br00tz amp have such fragile {censored}ing dials? /troll
