Members NinjaRaf
Yes you will. Keep looking...they sell for 500 all the time on CL. Check the spam thread as well, recently there have been a couple guys selling 6505 combos...also check on ebay, sometimes you will see a combo go for under 500 on there. Members tlbonehead
Ultra/Ultra Plus. Tons of gain but a hair less modern sounding and noticeably more articulate. Same with the older Triumphs.

Rhythm channel with the crunch and bright switches in and gain anywhere under 5 will give you some GREAT low-mid gain toanz!!

Members BrainChild
I have heard numerous Valve Kings that could have fooled me as being 5150's and they are pretty cheap.
Members NinjaRaf
Valve king isnt bad, but if you are looking for a 5150 sound, and its in your budget, why wouldnt you get it?

If price were not an issue, I would say my favorite in that type of head would be the Marshall JVM. That is way above your price range. Vox has tube modeling amps that have many heavy and boutique amp models. Check out the Vox Valvetronix VT 100.
