  • SED 6L6GC vs. Groove Tube 6L6GE, how do they compare?

    VS.

I recently bought a Jet City JCA100H from MF and I bought a quad of Groove Tube 6L6GE power tubes to replace the cheap Shaugang power tubes. I'm not sure if I like the Groove Tubes. They are a bit mushy and not so well defined. How would these tubes compare to SED 6L6GC power tubes?

Yeah, I'm gonna throw the Shaugang 6L6 tubes back in for now (they sounded better than the Groove Tubes), I'm just wodering if SED tubes would be a better option.

Man, the Winged C 6l6gs's in my VTM are ****************ing glorious. I don't usually use tone descriptions like this but......they ****************ing annihilated, crushed, killed, destroyed the Rubys that where in when I got it.
