Seems nice, any opinions? Or save and get a PC one?
Members snowaie
I kind of want it so I can bring my guitar and it to school and just play on my phone. Interesting stuff.
Members Slaymoar
I'm guessing you can move the recordings to your PC...
Members madrigal77
I think it looks pretty sweet. The iRig looks cool too. I think I would go with the ampkit though just because I love Peavey stuff and it has a 5134 model.
Members olgluefoot
If you download the free version of the app. it comes with dry recordings you can add the amp sounds to. Members Fireproof
I love it. Makes practicing and playing on the couch an easy affair. Plus the presets and amps and pedals are a lot of fun to play with. I researched the different connection devices (AmpKit Link vs. iRig or whatever) and AmpKit link gets tons of good reviews for lower feedback and lower delays. So I went with that. Got mine from Sweetwater - 29.99 and free shipping.
Members peavey_impact
I'd like to have it.....still pissed that I wasted money on PRS's piece of {censored} app and cable connection
Members JerEvil
I just got an iPod touch last night. I think I am going to order the iLink. Does it sound good enough for me to be ably to stop lugging my POD XTlive back and forth to work for daytime jamming?

Members mfergel
I went ahead and ordered one. I like the idea that they put the batteries in such in the link unit to take some of the processing off the iphone. I've got the original 3G and even with the latest iOS4.1 it's still a little slower than with iOS3.
Members rockguitar2000
this looks cool. would be really cool to be able to get some sort of footswitch for it to go between presets, or whatever. Maybe Airlink in iOS4? could be sweet to try to do a show with one into a powered speaker or direct to the PA.
Members LoopQuantum
My Peavey rep's hooking me up with one next week....but I don't have anything to plug it into. Members LoopQuantum
yeah, you should. the touch is 100 million times better. I bought one of the first 16gb touch models, but my ex took it with her in the divorce. Believe it or not, I still have the old pre-video iPod Photo, 30gb. My 6 year old's ipod is cooler... Members stompboxfreak72
Got mine a few days ago and just tried it out this morning. Very impressed. I can see myself using this for on the road practice and don 't-piss-off-the-wife jamming. The built in backing tracks and metronome/tuner are worth the price alone. Members mfergel
yeah, you should.the touch is 100 million times better. That all depends on the size of your music collection. I've got a classic 160gb and it's 1/2 full with just music right now. That doesn't even count when I put movies or tv shows on it. Unless they are going to release a larger touch I have zero interest. I've got an iPhone 3g and don't even bother putting music and video on it. But they have a 64 gig version out, and honestly that's a TON of music. But for all that you can do with the touch, I'll sacrifice the space for it.
