I wrote/recorded this from start to fin in 2 hours. Probably the best ever job where I pulled off almost the entire song with one take.

Needs lots of fills, transitions etc but I thought it came out good.

80s Les Paul Studio (stock)

Maxon OD9

50 watt JCM800 (1983)

Home made g12t-75 cab

SM57

Triple tracked.

The intro riff is palm muted pull offs on the E A D string. Really tricky to record as it is nearly all muted but I think the JCM800 really came into its own.

{censored}ing epic dude one of the best clips I've heard here recently

Sweet. When I hit 20,000 posts on HC, I told myself no more BSing on HCAF all day.

So I've concentrated more on trying to get an album done. Saying that, if it were not for those 20k posts, I know for a fact my recordings would suck. My playing would probably be better though.:love:

Sounds great!

Classic tone.

Nice playing as well.

Cheers. It was the first proper recording 4x12 recording session in this:

I've messed around, but not seriously tweaked mic placement, settings, angles, actually being sober etc.

I installed it about a month ago. The thing is bloody great.
