Members Ripfence
I want to install windows 7 and keep my current XP OS on there until I am positive that all my DAW software and plug-ins work with 7 but I'll need to partition one of my drives to do so. Is there a utility that anyone knows of that can partition a drive without reformatting? If not, could you recommend a good disk cloning app? Thanks. Members LaXu
Partition Magic can probably do it but it will most likely take ages and might {censored} everything up. I'd just google or contact the developers of the plugins to see if they work properly in Win7.

I can't take that chance at this point in time. I might partition the data disk and load 7 on that disk instead of risking it with my C drive. Yep. Partition Magic can do it but it can {censored} your world up too. Always best to create partitions before loading OS. What plugs are you wondering about?
