Here is what I plan to do strip and paint body/neck white (thin lacquer) stain neck to look like ebonyreplace tuners/nut with blackoverhaul trem with a new one with a custom machined titanium plate and posts(I can do that at my job:))new electronics/pickups etc It is a good guitar in good shape and I just wanted a new project. My dilemma is should I use black pickup rings or mount the pups directly to the body? What do you think would look better and is there any advantage/disadvantage to either method?
