On Laura's recommendation, I grabbed a JJ 12ax7 for the V1s of my both my Rectos. Ruby 12ax7s for V2,3 and 4 and a Mullard for V5 of the Triple. Also got a pair of JJ KT77s for the Single. Everything sounds amazing. The Triple is now biggers, brighter and clearer sounding but it has that massive low-midrange that love!! The KT77s sound a lot like a cross between 34s and 6L6s. There is a boost to the upper mids but it still has that classic Recto low end. The clean channel isn't as good, but not nearly as bead as it is with 34s. Laura was super helpful and a total pleasure to deal with. She had the order in the mail with in like an hour of me placing it! Total win!!!
