The new The Crown and Witchery records (although I'm not a huge fan of either record...longtime fan of those bands though)

Seconding Nachtmystium (experimental black). Torche (stoner), Intronaut (prog/sludge), Black Tusk (sludge), Valient Thorr (speed/thrash), Bongripper (instrumental doom), High On Fire (stoner/sludge), Bison BC (stoner/thrash), Kvelertak (black metal/punk), Early Man (thrash), Zoroaster (sludge), Black Breath (hardcore/death).

I have no doubt that Kylesa will be really good, Electric Wizard's new album, Pig Destroyer IF it comes out this year, and Ocean's Anthropocentric will all be awesome.

Nice. Downloading now from eMusic. I dig black metal influenced stuff that has a laid back kinda feel. I kinda consider it stoner black metal.

EDIT: meh, on further review...not sure I'm digging the post rock/shoegaze stuff...I'll give it a shot I guess.

EDIT II: it's the dude...don't like his clean vox much at all. a good female singer would be awesome for the clean stuff.
