Members mbarn3065 Posted February 19, 2011 Members Share Posted February 19, 2011 They have a tube preamp section, but with a solid state power amp section. They are very loud and cool looking amps. The clean sound in this amp is good. Not quite like a Fender Twin, but for a solid state hybrid amp, not bad. The distortion sound on these amps are muddy and unfocused, with not a lot of gain.
