Members Cropduster
The water-y sound. Is this a Leslie effect or chorus. Anyone know EXACTLY the effect? I want me one. [video=youtube;DugRwycppqI]

Members co&cafan808
That is a leslie effect. I'm not sure if that's a real leslie but I do know Billy now uses a DLS Rotosim.
Members Cropduster
Fender Blender. I thought that was a fuzz type pedal. I'm talking about the shimmering sound going on the clean part.

Members co&cafan808
A real Leslie or what gets you close? The h&k rotosphere is one of the best and I really like my option 5 destination rotation but I can't wait for the strymon lex to come out, after doing some checking it looks like Billy uses a DLS Rotosim which is supposed to be good pedal but I've never played one myself. These are some good options but I assure you none of them are cheap unfortunately.
Members Markdude
Those wishy-washy parts are played by James. But yeah, sounds like a Leslie of some sort.

Members GRANKOR
Fender Blender. I think that came later, like Mellon Collie era. It was Marshalls and Muffs on the first 2 records
Members Markdude
Maybe live, but Billy recorded the early stuff himself (including bass) On Siamese Dream, yep. On the majority of MCIS. But not on Gish.

It was Marshalls and Muffs on the first 2 records Gish's dirty tones were ADA MP-1 into the effects loop of a JCM 800 2203, and I don't think there's any Big Muff on the record at all. Members spoonie g
Sounds more like a pedal to me (I used to own a leslie); maybe a flying pan. And yeah, Gish is all ADA Mp-1.

Members Elric
Gish was ADA MP-1 for the base distortion/preamp sounds. Later records were Marshall JMP-1, IIRC.
