Members chris49
So i'm in the market for a new amp. Not a particularly high wattage, and don't really need death metal amounts of gain, i just want a nice versatile amp.so far, i've bee looking at the laney lionheart 20watt combo and the H&K edition tube 20th anniversary. I haven't had time(/can't find anywhere near me that sells them) to try any of them yet, so just wandered about general opinions of them. Also, whats the difference between the H&K edition 20th, and 25th? apart from the 25th appears to be cheaper?

Members chris49
Whats the reliability like? i'm a bit dubious buying used as i bought a used tsl, and it has been nothing but a pain in the arse. i swear its spent more time getting repaired than it has being played. Although i do gather this is a tsl problem, not necessarily a bad owner

Members Cougar Hunter
I don't know how to feel about HK. I love my Access Preamp, but their support is non-existent, and I HATED the Warp X.
Members Firebrand
If there are any dealers near you, try a Traynor amp. Like a YCV40. Very solid build, usable EQ and are extremely pedal friendly.
