Members The Anomaly
I need one, for gigging. I'd like it to be compact when it folds or breaks down, but it needs to be sturdy, because I still like my guitars. Suggestions?
Members Blakkwater
Don't get those three-leg multi-guitar stands. them things are fall-prone. something like this would be mucho better.

I've been kind of looking at ones like these, thanks. Any other suggestions?

Members musicmanmu
i use the Hercules one, sturdy as heck and breaks down nice... Ditto. Best stand I've ever owned. I've had mine since 2006, and it's been beat all to hell, and it still works great.
Members A_Gitarman
I have an On-Stage 3-guitar stand that's similar to the Hercules one posted above (only not nearly as nice). It's done the job perfectly for the past 3 or 4 years & the only time I've had a guitar fall was when someone else set my Strat on the bit on the bottom (like a 'regular' guitar stand) instead of hanging it from the neck as designed It's CHEAP, too; less than $20 for the 2-guitar version/ $25 for this one:
Members The Anomaly
Does anyone just use two single stands, and if so, which ones? I know they all "work" for the most part, I'm just a little anal about certain things, plus, I usually take a PRS with me all the time, so . . . Members guitargod0dmw
When I use a single stand, I use the Ultimate GS100. It folds up small, but still offers the stability of a bigger stand...vs. the really small ones that don't offer neck support. I suppose if I used multiple single stands I've have a couple of those. I've also got a few of the single Hercules stands, but they are bigger than the GS100. I try to have everything in as small of a package as possible and make one trip to my car. Members guitarbilly74
I use this: http://www.amazon.com/Guardian-Multiple-Guitar-Stand-Guitars/dp/B002IC1D4U I know that's a 3 guitar stand, but it works really well and it's really sturdy. Those 2 guitar tripod stands make me nervous, I don't trust them.
