I'M planning a trip with 10-15 friends to vegas and i've never been there. I was wondering if some of you went and have some tips about which hotel to stay and which bar to party etc. We are leaving for easter 2013 for 5 daysa but i wanna book my things in a month. Go tell me where to party!!

You can walk into anyplace, quickie mart, casino, etc... buy some booze, and then walk anywhere you want with it. Where to party? Everywhere!

My advice is to see if any cool bands are playing and plan at least one day around that. Otherwise, if a young chick walks up and asks if you want to have some fun, she is a hooker. Proceed with caution. And deep pockets of course.

i live in Vegas. There's a ton to do, it really depends what you LIKE to do... If you want fist-pumping club action, we have that. If you like cheesy touristy action, we've got that. If you like shows by French Canadians-turned Vegas locals, we've got that....

Hotels range from older/cheaper to new and fancy...

So a little more of an idea of what your preferences are and I can give you some ideas!

well took a look at the price and i can have 550 for 5 days with plane ticket in a {censored}ty place or 850 with plane ticket at the bellagio, ceasars palace, venetian etc so for 300$ more for 5 days i'll take a nice hotel.

I've been to Vegas quite a few times and each time we've went we stayed at the Palms, which is a few blocks off the main strip. Its like a ten dollar cab ride to the strip. Its more of a younger crowd at that hotel. Plenty of eye candy there. The pool parties are fun on Saturdays and Sundays.

Last time I went, for the first time, we went to the OLD STRIP. Fremont St. Where the Golden Nugget is and the neon roof above the strip. I had soooooo much fun there. Its a wayyyyyyyyyyyy different crowd on that strip and drinks are wayyyyyyyyyyy cheaper. When you go you should definitely check out that part of town as well. It was a blast.

I prefer Fremont St area to the strip. Drinks are cheaper, more fun, and always stay at the Golden Nugget. They just remodeled recently, and sweet rooms for the price. I have seen Penn and Teller each time I have gone, and usualy just do the strip for a day or two.

Just got back from there....we head down fairly regularly because we're degenerate gamblers.

Dollar for dollar, and then throw in a choice location, take a long hard look at the Mirage. It was updated a couple years back, is nice and clean, and ran something like $80 a night for a king bed room. It's pretty much in the middle of the strip so you can head north or south pretty equally and hit the rest of the strip. On this last trip, for an extra $80 a night, we got a PIMP suite with full wet bar there as well.

If I had unlimited funds, I would stay that the Cosmopolitan. That place was the {censored}....but reeeeeeeeal spendy.

The breakfast buffet at the Golden Nugget is absolutely a must. Low price, all you can eat, great food.

Last time I was there, the Hard Rock did not enforce a dress code till like after 5 PM in the casino, so the Fine Young Ass Convention would wander through from the pool area all day long. eek.giflove.gif Too bad I was working...and married.

Also, if you are a stoner, Nevada has some of the harshest drug laws in America, so be careful!!!. Don't know about now, but possesion of a joint used to be worth a SALES charge.cop.gif

An oz.? MANDATORY 52 YEARS!!!eek.gif

Amusing Spearmint Rhino Anecdote For No Reason from this last trip:

So on this last trip, two of my buddies were having birthdays (one 38, one 40.) A couple of us had our wives, but still decided that a trip to Spearmint Rhino was required. We all head over.....within 45 seconds of walking in, I've got 3 hooker/strippers hanging on me looking for a lap dance while my wife is off buying drinks.

I tell them, "Hey, take care of my two buddies first, on me. It's their birthday. How much?"

They tell me "$500 each" to which I reply freak.gif.

I said, "How about $50 each?" They left.

Then a second wave of hookers swarm in and try to negotiate a lower price. I keep saying, "50 bucks." No deal.

My wife arrives at this point with drinks, takes one of the girls aside and tells them, while pointing at me, "Hey, just so you know, he's gay." Strippers depart. Then we sat and made out for awhile. icon_lol.gif

Meanwhile, my buddy is sitting across from me, literally getting jerked off by a stripper sitting in his lap. My wife was giggling at that. We wound up leaving with another couple....evidently when the strippers think you are cheap, and gay, they aren't going to get much action from you. icon_lol.gif

I heard later from the same friend who was getting jerked off, that he told the stripper that he wanted to {censored} her in the ass. She said she'd do it for a grand....he handed over his debit card, forgetting he didn't have a grand in his acct....it was denied so he wound up not pounding her ass.

So basically, Spearmint Rhino is a brothel disguised as a strip bar. thumb.gif

we are not planning to go to strip bar as the stripper club we have in quebec are pretty nice, a lot cheaper than in the states and for 20$ per song they are naked in the cabin and you can touch their boobs.
