Members guitarbilly74
Even here in L.A. it's slow at the moment. I even posted an ad for TRADES and got no bites. People are really broke, man.
Members greg apocalypse
Terribly. But I'm not helping, either. It feels like everyone wants twice the price they paid for it.... Every mexi strat locally here is going for $350-$400 for the most standard barebones MIM. Hell, I even saw a STARCASTER for $275...
Members Dolf
Unless it's a sick deal, no. Even then, not really. {censored}, teleman has a gflex 2x12 listed here in Tampa for under $200 and it isn't selling. That {censored}'s cray. Members soundgardener75
Craigslist here in OC's pretty good with deals. Just like Billy had said, everyone's broke.
Members Cougar Hunter
If you sell awesome stuff at market/fair prices online, it usually sells.

Members chaos2767
Noticed some MIM strats going for mid 450 range around here! Bunch of crack smokers! Also saw a couple Hellraisers in San Diego going for 600.
Members greg apocalypse
^ right? Like - maybe I'm crazy, I'm no expert, but when did MIM strats leave the $250-$300 range? I'm not talking about the ones fully worked over with hardware and electronics... just the plain ol' run of the mill MIM Fender Strat.

Members Ron Burgandy
I listed my 800 for sale but only got trade offers. So I took down the listing. All the baby stuff is paid for so I'm just going to hang on to it. It's still a righteous amp. I did list a pedal for sale the other day and it sold right away. Of course, like Cougar Hunter mentioned above, it was an awesome pedal at FMV. Buyer was kick ass too.
Members guitarbilly74
dude... that actually is a huge help. I _never_ watch GC used. it's a pain in the ass to navigate that site.. but I found most of my recent deals on used gear there.... example: http://www.guitarcenter.com/In-Store-Used-USED-FENDER-MIM-STRAT-BLK-7-0-342-070512-107943935-i2609353.gc so yeah there's some good {censored} there

Has me really curious. The only downer I'm seeing with those, is they really don't have any information posted on any of the ones I'm looking at. I mean, a strat is a strat, but can they give a little more? "Ding on back side. Duncan pickups. Signed by the sound tech for ABBA."
