Oh sure, there are aspects of it in there. But from the djent I've heard, it's fairly consistent in its djentiness. Loop's stuff has quite a bit of variety to it. I guess that's what I was trying to say.
:idk:

djent is all over the map anymore. Skyharbor and TesseracT are considered djent, and they're AWFULLY varied. I mean, hardly ever popping into single note rhythmic static, and when they do it's to add a punctuation rather than just hammer away at an arhythmic construct for ten minutes.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

djent's like. . . a lifestyle man. Like an attitude. Like a way of thinking, of being, of brea. . . .

:lol: yeah couldn't write it with a straight face.

Pfffft. What, are you in Korn? 8 strings bro. 8.

Or 9 if you're a real man.

Or 16 if you're from the south and want to djent. :o

Also, did 7strings delete the thread? It says "invalid link."

Arrogant bunch of assholes? :D I just like music that appeals to me and don't usually judge entire genres. Hell, even hair metal had a few gems here and there. :D:cool:
