Members superflyinmonke
Why don't you try it yourself and run it through a series of trials to confirm the hypothesis that you like the F100. You know, for science.

Members Cliff Fiscal
What didn't you like about the single Recto? scooped as hell and not much clarity.
Members guidedbyechoes
scooped as hell and not much clarity. Listen to a clip or two on youtube the eq changes the feel more than the sound. I like the non contour mode sound better. contour mode adds gain and bass and scoops it. The clean is lovely though. Can't wait til it gets here. yeah I think you got a magical combination brewing with the diezel. I guess I'm just not as into that modern high gain tone. I like a modern marshall tone, but with lows and low mids
Members Norton666
They are totally different amps. I don't like the Single Rec at all but I love the F series amps. A lot smoother and not scooped at all. I say go for it
