    Why don't you try it yourself and run it through a series of trials to confirm the hypothesis that you like the F100. You know, for science.

        its not local or even near.

        locals shops suck.

            Listen to a clip or two on youtube the eq changes the feel more than the sound. I like the non contour mode sound better. contour mode adds gain and bass and scoops it. The clean is lovely though.

                          I never played an F-series so i can't tell you nada. I would never consider a recto scooped though..

                            yeah I think you got a magical combination brewing with the diezel.

                            I guess I'm just not as into that modern high gain tone.

                            I like a modern marshall tone, but with lows and low mids

                              They are totally different amps. I don't like the Single Rec at all but I love the F series amps. A lot smoother and not scooped at all. I say go for it
