Completely different than the original and infinitely better. Actually one of my favorite songs ever. I also think the version of No Quarter on that same album is better than the original...

KISS Alive!

Their studio albums up until this point were terribly produced and never translated their live shows well. Yes, it was pretty much re-recorded in the studio (to varying degrees depending on who's being interviewed), but sonically it surpassed anything KISS had done up until that point and anything they've done since.
