  • best place to get speakers...

looking for an eminence red/white/blues for a fender combo. aside from the typical online box stores, where's a good place to buy speakers at the best price?
Les Paul's & Strats, Fender Super & Blues Junior, Fulltone pedals & a whole lot of stuff that I don't use and can't seem to let go....

If you cant find them used on here, avatar is BY FAR the best place to buy new. They buy so many that they can sell them to us for less than the regular retail price.

I will second Raf's suggestion... I haven't bought any speakers for a while, but www.avatarspeakers.com seemed to have the best prices and reasonable shipping costs.

I've never played an avatar.... How well do they stack up to the competition?

I had an old one, and it was pretty stellar. Havent had a 412 that Ive liked as much since.

Also, they sell raw speakers, you dont have to buy a cab.

Avatar posts a price list for eminence speakers, but thats the retail price list. Call them to order...you wont be paying retail price. I bought 2 V12s from them last month. 75 normal price, each. 135 shipped for the pair from avatar. Also, bought 2 k100s a few years ago for 204 shipped...compared to 125 each.
